[vc_row header_feature=”yes” padding_top=”20″][vc_column][vc_column_text]Like any reputable establishment, we have rules to follow. You may have a friend who will break them, or know of another studio that is willing to go around the regulations, but that is not us.
We have built a reputation of quality, and while you may end up simply deciding to use another studio for your work, if breaking the law, or bending on moral grounds is a requirement for you, we likely weren’t the right place for you to be to begin with.
So, below, we’ve listed some rules to expect when visiting the studio.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row middle_content=”yes” footer_feature=”yes” padding_top=”10″ padding_bottom=”10″][vc_column][engic_divider][engic_list icon=”circle”]Tattoos We Will Perform On A Minor: Tattoos are a lifetime commitment to a piece of artwork, and so we take the idea of tattooing a minor very seriously. Not only will we not tattoo a minor anywhere on the neck, hands, or face, but we also leave the decision up to each artist, as to whether the tattoo is a good idea based on the client’s age. You may not be happy with our decision, but we have accumulated a lifetime of experience in the field, and keep abreast of trends for employment and social norms in order to make an educated decision on this matter.
Requirements to Tattoo A Minor: If you are having your child tattooed, you will be required to bring a notarized consent form that states you are the guardian of the child, and that you are consenting to the process. You will also need to present photo ID for both yourself and the minor. If you cannot or will not abide by these requirement, we will not perform the service. Again, you may know a studio that will do it without following these procedures, but we would advise you against trusting your child’s safety to mere convenience.
Food & Beverages: The state of Florida prohibits the consumption of both food and beverages in the areas used to tattoo clients. Due to this requirement, you will be asked to keep those items in the designated areas of the studio. If you are found to have food or beverages in these restricted areas, we will simply ask you to remove them, and will be more than happy to provide a space for them.
Tattoos We Will Not Perform: We leave each artist to decide things that they will or will not tattoo on clients. Aside from their discretion, there are certain tattoos we will not perform under any circumstance. We will not tattoo gang or club tattoos on anyone, nor will we perform any services that could place the client or artist at undue risk for any reason. Aside from these circumstances, your artist will reserve the right to refuse to perform tattoos for a variety of reasons, based on their discretion as to whether the tattoo would be a good or bad idea for you to obtain.
Smoking & Vaping: All of our facilities are smoke and vape free, and any such activities need to be enjoyed outside, away from entrances that might expose our guests to second hand smoke.
Alcohol Consumption: We will not tattoo you if you are drunk, or appear to be intoxicated. We also do not allow the consumption of alcoholic beverages during normal business operations anywhere on premises. If you arrive with an alcoholic beverage, you will be asked to dispose of it, and if you do not comply, we will simply ask you to leave. Please note that arriving drunk or intoxicated will result in forfeiting any deposit for that day.
Identification: You will not be tattooed if you do not present government issued photo identification. This is a government requirement, and we will not deviate from it, even if you arrive to discover you forgot it. So please make sure to bring your identification with both verification of age and a photo on it, issued by a state or federal authority.
Deposits: We require a deposit of 30% on every service performed before letting an appointment date. You will not need to put down a deposit for consultations, but it will be required afterward to secure an actual appointment. Deposits are non-refundable, so you need to be sure you want to get tattooed before booking. If you plan to miss your appointment, you should contact us no less than 48 hours ahead of time to move the deposit to a new appointment without forfeiting it. If you move your appointment more than once, or fail to contact us more than 48 hours ahead of time, we will have to collect your deposit to compensate the artist for their time.[/engic_list][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][/vc_column][/vc_row]
